Our Mission Statement

Our Mission at Our Lady of Lourdes is that pupils, staff, governors and families all grow and learn together in God’s love.  We have four “Mission Promises” which we all live by to help us to achieve this. 

Learning

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”

I promise to show God that I will work hard and be a good learner.

Safety

“God is our refuge and strength and ever present help in trouble.”

(Psalm 46)

I promise to show God that I know how to keep myself and others safe.

Love

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

(John 13)

I promise to show God that I will love and respect myself, other people and the world he created for us.

Honesty

“Dear Children, let us not love with words or speech, but with actions and in truth.”

(John 3)

I promise to show God that I am honest and truthful.
